Staff Profiles

Joseph Baker joined the firm of Millar and Mixon in 2007 after 13 years as an insurance adjuster. Joe is also an experienced paralegal and is the Millar and Mixon Client Relations' Manager. Mr. Baker's extensive experience in the insurance industry gives him a unique insider's perspective as to how insurance companies evaluate claims and makes him a highly valuable member of our team. Joe thoroughly enjoys the challenge of helping obtain fair compensation for injury victims.

When Joe is not at the office he can often be found in some athletic environment. He and his wife are the proud parents of 3 young sons, and two of them are already active in football and baseball. Joe never misses a game and he has even done some coaching.

First and foremost Joe describes himself as a "family man" but he has another big passion and that is golf. While living in New Jersey, Joe competed in quite a few New Jersey Amateur Championships. And guess who his caddy was? His Dad. They were both amused at one event when Joe made the cut and while on the 18th hole he heard the buzz asking who this "Joe Baker" was as he stood nearby saying nothing.
